"Dinner was amazing!"
"You look amazing!"
"Our trip was amazing!"
"The party was amazing!"
For more than five years now, the word 'amazing' has been wildly overused by EVERYONE. There were even a bunch of websites stating how overused the word 'amazing' was becoming.
'Amazing' REMAINS overused and it makes no sense. If both the Grand Canyon and your dinner last night were amazing, how do I know what you mean exactly?
Start using adjectives, which are words to specifically describe your experience.
For example, maybe your dinner was delicious because there was a variety of gluten-free food choices that you enjoyed eating. That says a lot more than 'amazing'.
Stop saying 'amazing' and start being specific about what was so amazing.
