When I first heard Rachael Ray call a sandwich a 'sammie', I thought I misunderstood. Was she saying 'sannie'? Was there a thing all the cool kids knew about 'sammie' that I didn't?
Well, it's five years later and I still have zero idea why someone would call a sandwich a 'sammie'. Perhaps it is a Cool Kid thing, or maybe not.
Maybe it's a Not-the-Shiniest-Penny-at-the-Bank thing.
