You and I, no wait, You and me, I think

So many people think they sound smart when they say 'You and I' instead of 'You and me'.  Unfortunately, they sound stupid.

Many times "you and me" is CORRECT.  Yes, occasionally you SHOULD say "you and me", "Mary and me", "her brother and me", etc.  When you incorrectly say "You and I" instead of the correct "You and me", you come across as trying too hard to impress.

I respect people who can't quite figure out when to use "I" or "me" and they just say 'me'.  It's okay.  It's more natural and doesn't sound like you purposely made the choice to say it.

Between you and me, inappropriately using 'you and I' makes you look like an uneducated dumb-dumb who never reads a book.
